How EJI Labs mobile testing is priced & scheduled.

Every situation is a little different, so we keep pricing straightforward and transparent. Below is an overview of how we structure mobile fees, what to expect on-site and the basic policies we use to keep everything running smoothly.

How pricing works

Final pricing depends on the type of test, how many people are being tested and where we’re traveling to. Below is the basic structure we use for most appointments.

Core structure

Simple mobile pricing

  • Per-test fee – based on test type (urine, BAT, DNA, hair follicle, etc.).
  • Mobile trip fee – based on distance / drive time from Metro Atlanta.
  • After-hours or rush appointments – may include an additional convenience fee.
  • Group testing – discounted per-test rates for multiple people at one location.

We’ll always confirm your exact pricing in writing before an appointment is finalized.

  • Number of individuals being tested or collected.
  • Requested test panel or lab option.
  • Location (on-site at a business, residence or neutral site).
  • Time of day (regular business hours vs. early morning / evening).

DNA & hair collections

Legal or personal knowledge testing

  • Buccal swab collections for DNA paternity and relationship testing.
  • Hair follicle collections for longer detection windows.
  • Verified ID and paperwork reviewed at time of collection.
  • Samples shipped to partner laboratories as directed by your case or program.

What to expect on the day of your appointment

Our goal is to keep everything professional, respectful and efficient. Here’s what most clients can expect when EJI Labs arrives on-site.

On-site process

Step-by-step flow

  • We arrive at the agreed time and check in with the main contact.
  • IDs and any required paperwork are reviewed.
  • Collections are completed one person at a time in a private area.
  • All forms are completed and samples sealed before leaving the site.
  • Samples are transported or shipped to the appropriate laboratory.
ID & documentation

What clients should bring

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc.).
  • Any court, program or employer paperwork that needs to be signed.
  • Case numbers or internal reference numbers, if applicable.
  • Payment method if arranged directly with EJI Labs.

Rescheduling, cancellations & no-shows

Because we are a mobile service, our schedule and drive time are built around the appointments we confirm. The guidelines below help us respect everyone’s time.

Rescheduling

Changing your appointment

  • Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to move your date or time.
  • Same-day reschedules may be limited based on route and availability.
  • For group or on-site employer testing, advanced notice allows us to avoid extra fees.
Cancellations & no-shows

When a trip has already been scheduled

  • Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a trip or convenience fee.
  • If we arrive on-site and cannot complete the collection for reasons outside our control, a mobile fee may still apply.
  • Details for your specific situation will be shared when you book.
